Project Headstock Spider is a milling and lathe project to produce the headstock spider for my South Bend 9A Lathe. The headstock spider is a useful bit of machinery tooling which allows for longer stock to be centered through the headstock.
The project consists of a slip fit over the outboard spindle. Four screws allow the stock to be centered and locked into place to prevent movement.
