A home in Hollywood will be established by Miss Betty Lou Rathbun and Bruce Milton Hatton following their Oct. 24 marriage at the chapel of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Wedding plans were revealed recently at a supper party at the home of the parents of the bride-elect Dr. and Mrs. Lyle L. Rathbun, 747 N. Euclid Ave.
Present for the party were parents of the benedict-elect, Mr. and Mrs. J. Milton Hatton, of South Gate; Robert Lyle Rathbun, brother of the bride-elect, and the hosts.
Miss Rathbun is a 1951 graduate of Chaffey High School and attended Occidental College where she received her AB degree in 1955. She also attended the University of Southern California where she received her MA degree in speech and was a member of honorary speech, drama, and writing clubs. She is a secondary teacher in Colton and Campo.
Mr. Hatton attended Huntington Parks Schools where he was graduated in 1951. He is a 1955 alumnus of Occidental College where he was graduated with honors and has served with the U.S. Army in Korea and with the Air Force at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
The benedict-elect is attending the University of Southern California where he is working towards his masters degree in business administration. He is also employed by the Los Angeles City School System as an assistant administration analyst in educational housing.
The couple plans a small family wedding.
